TeacherFly Refund and Cancellation Policy
Proposed Effective Date: October 19, 2026
This policy describes TeacherFly's voluntary introductory refund guarantee and how subscriptions are canceled. Payments made through Paddle are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record. Mandatory consumer rights apply independently of this policy.
1. Seven-Day Money-Back Guarantee
Where this guarantee is offered at purchase, an eligible customer may request a full refund of their first verified paid TeacherFly subscription purchase within seven consecutive days of that purchase. The deadline begins on the date and time of the verified initial payment, not the date of a later upgrade, change or renewal.
Eligibility is limited to a genuine first subscription purchase and may be checked against verified transaction records and protected previous-customer history. A second introductory guarantee is not created by renewing, changing plans, resubscribing, deleting an account or creating a new account.
2. How to Request a Refund
While eligible, sign in to TeacherFly, open My Plan & Billing, select Request Refund, and confirm the request. If you cannot access the account or control, contact support@teacherfly.app promptly with your purchase reference. Do not send full payment-card data or passwords.
The request is sent for review. Submitting it does not immediately refund the payment, cancel billing, or terminate access. TeacherFly and Paddle may validate the qualifying transaction and claim before the refund is processed. Your subscription generally remains active while the request is pending.
3. Approved Refunds and Subscription Access
Approved refunds are processed by Paddle using the applicable payment method and provider process. Once an approved full refund for the subscription has been verified, TeacherFly may immediately cancel the refunded subscription and update access and subscription credits to Free. Refund processing and bank posting times vary by payment method.
The introductory subscription guarantee does not cover independently purchased top-up credits, later renewal payments, upgrades or plan-change charges. Other cases are evaluated under Paddle's policies and applicable law. Existing Library content is not deleted solely because of an approved subscription refund; new storage or creation may be limited by the Free plan.
4. Ordinary Subscription Cancellation
Paid subscriptions renew monthly or annually until canceled. Ordinary cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period. You retain paid access until that date, and future renewals should stop at the effective cancellation date. Use Paddle's billing portal, where available, or contact support@teacherfly.app for assistance.
Canceling a subscription is not the same as obtaining a refund of the current period. Refunds and any mandatory withdrawal or cancellation rights are considered separately.
5. Permanent Account Deletion
Permanent deletion is irreversible and requires verified immediate cancellation of any active Paddle subscription before TeacherFly removes the account. If Paddle cannot confirm cancellation or TeacherFly has not synchronized the cancellation, account deletion must wait or be retried safely. Download saved content first; remaining account-specific credits are forfeited on permanent deletion except as required by law. Certain limited billing, security and prior-payment eligibility audit records may remain as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Statutory Rights and Payment Provider
Nothing in this voluntary guarantee limits mandatory refund, withdrawal, consumer or data-protection rights, which may apply for longer periods or under different conditions depending on the buyer's jurisdiction. Paddle's applicable Refund Policy and Buyer Terms govern Paddle payment processing.
